Sled Pulls Acceleration Drill with Chris Parno – Minnesota State Univ., Mankato

Watch as Coach Chris Parno explains, and a sprinter demonstrates this sled pull acceleration drill. Coach uses a hip harness that allows the athlete to drive the hip forward and slows down the acceleration process so the athletes can focus on the low-heal swing motion with their legs. He recommends the weight of the sled should be 10 to 20 percent of the athlete's body weight.
